Abraham the father of Nations

From : Abraham but 430 years later to baby Moses.

Abram obeyed unquestioningly the commands of GodAbraham’s had a pinnacle of faith

"According to the biblical account, Abram (“The Father [or God] Is Exalted”), who is later named Abraham (“The Father of Many Nations”), a native of Ur in Mesopotamia, is called by God (Yahweh) to leave his own country and people and journey to an undesignated land, where he will become the founder of a new nation. He obeys the call unquestioningly and (at 75 years of age) proceeds with his barren wife, Sarai, later named Sarah (“Princess”), his nephew Lot, and other companions to the land of Canaan (between Syria and Egypt)."

How many years was Abraham before Moses? 430 years!

"The period between Abraham's call to enter Canaan (AM 2021) and Jacob's entry into Biblical Egypt is 215 years, calculated from the ages of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; the period in Egypt is stated in the Book of Exodus (12:40) as 430 years, although the Septuagint and the Samaritan Pentateuch texts both give only 430"

Now yesterday I had a look at Moses and his Egyptian Pharaoh King Ramsey II - his adoptive father and mother Bithiah. I read how he was put in the Nile and was found and ended up as a prince in Egypt. He was highly educated and the story is fascinating. I think they did a remarkable job in the ten Commandments. But you could imagine the real life scenario. Moses as a baby was one of the most beautiful baby child that you could ever see/imagine. They say he was astonishing. But that is not what is written for our Lord and savior although he is the most high. I wondered what happened to his Egyptian mother and his Egyptian father and the Queen of Egypt Nefertari Meritmut that at the time was in love with Moses. She despised Ramses. In those days the Egyptians they had agriculture and they were highly educated in their own primitive ways. When we think of the ancient old world we don't think of these things like we should. They didn't have the technology that we have today but they certainly understood quite a bit. You know how much they understood spiritually? They knew that a child was going to be born among-st the Hebrews. Even after that when Jesus came on to the scene the same thing with King Harold as he tried to wipe out Jewish children because they knew a great one was going to be born. They talked about their numbers increasing and how that in turn might one day affect or even destroy their empires. But at the same time they were Men of war and they had their politics but they also had their downfalls. But you see they had their people who were able to know that somebody was going to be born that might affect them. You might think they got this information among their own people who heard it through the grapevines. And it's probably true to a certain degree. They also were being led by the underworld that they understood not as they were under the impression that was their God. Who did Jesus say was the god of the Pharisees and Sadducees and some of the scribes? There's only one name today given on to men in which he might find Salvation and there's only one God. (I am that I am) But as I say the in-depth stories that I read were so intriguing and I could see why they made a movie out of it.

So my thoughts were that started me off thinking about this just as you would in modern day think what happened to this person or that person that is a celebrity and I knew of them years back. So I thought; I wonder if the queen of Egypt that loved Moses and actually helped his people including the Egyptian adoptive mother of Moses if God saved them and gave them grace. You know many Christians will say no way they went to hell. I know of a Christian sister that once said to me that we are going to see people in heaven that we never deemed would be there. I don't know if that's true but I do know God is merciful and we don't see the whole picture because in the end God is the judge. We can judge by scripture and that is how we are to judge. (But many people try to put God in a box) But remember they were most likely under the old testament then and in primitive times. So with all these nations and all these empires that ever existed and that will exist the last one will be of Christ made me think of Abraham who is the father of all Nations but played a great part in God's plan.

But what does that mean? What major significance did Abraham have or play?

And your descendants will be as numerous as the stars.” That was the promise that God gave Abraham.

Historically, Abraham became known as “The Father of Many Nations” through a promise given to him by God.

What can all this mean? You know Jesus said you have to love your neighbor as yourself. And there are evil Nations but what significance does all of this play as a whole? I mean man is always at war with each other and it is written that in the end times Nations will rise up against Nations. You know it is written that judgment starts at the house of God. Even Jerusalem.

(14-23) Isaiah 17. Power and Might, As the World Knows It, Are Destined for Destruction

"All the powers of the world, including the neighbors of Judah as well as the nations of the world that despoiled the Lord’s people, will themselves be destroyed by the mighty judgments of God."

I mean before Jesus people were saved in a different way. And there were lots of empires and lots of evil. And even before the flood Noah was a man of God and a preacher. This is not heaven and there are many nations that came about because of Abraham and God's promise to him. So in the end the last  Kingdom will be that of Christ. But the question is of the many Nations, tongues, nationalities and peoples of the world whom will be saved? It's all about the God who said I am that I am and what he is doing to restore the Fallen World.

Daniel 2:44

“And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.” (KJV)

Obey the LORD

After notes: The whole duty of man is to obey their maker. Many people whom are atheist are in sin all the time but they don't think of that. They're also taught that they came from monkeys. Many of them believe in evolution. That is one thing. But then we have the Nations that have many other gods before him. That is before the true God. And of course in some of these nations there are remnants people that worship the true God. But many of these people are persecuted and have to do it underground. Still today they come preaching another Jesus and another gospel. But what is the wrapping? What is inside?

But in the study or in this intriguement of Abraham being the father of many nations and you can even go before that with Noah and what will God was doing with him if God had not flooded the world it would have gotten so contaminated that probably no flesh could be saved. (It grieved God he made man). So along the way to whatever his will is and his plan through his prophets and ultimately the nation Israel in which God is working his will when people disobey their maker there are consequences. As I said before God takes idolatry extremely serious. And your job as a believer is to keep yourself uncontaminated from the world. And to love God in every way! When the heart is abundantly wicked even after 400 years in captivity those slaves circled the desert for 40 years and still there was rebellion in the camp. The way to salvation is embedded in simplicity of the Gospel though it might be simple but still the way is a straight Gate. But people fill their lives up with paraphernalia and all sorts of things that accumulate over time that are nothing but obstacles/things that are a waste of time and might give you temporary comfort but slowly pull you away from a relationship with your maker God. Many are called but few are chosen: Mathew 22:14

You know scripture says that it's a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Lord. If God made a covenant with the Israelite's and that is extremely serious then breaking it brought excruciating consequences for its people. How are we any different?

"In the Hebrew Bible, the captivity in Babylon is presented as a punishment for idolatry and disobedience to Yahweh in a similar way to the presentation of Israelite slavery in Egypt followed by deliverance.'

Mark 12:30

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
King James Version (KJV)
