God Is Not Mocked
People mocked when they are told/preached the truth but it is them whom in turn are not only mocking themselves but cursing themselves by rejecting the truth and mocking GOD'S messenger/disciple/Preacher/Christian.

The biblical none blemished lamb of GOD lord Jesus Christ said go into all the world and evangelize the word of God. Preach the gospel to every creature. He said if you enter a town and they reject you shake off the dust off your shoes because it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the Day of Judgment than for that town. And he had different parables and different teachings as he said count the cost and that if a man can't finish and he likened this to being mocked which he gave great illustration then what is the outcome? You must count the cost. But this parable is really about being his disciple and that you're going to truly lose everything. Sure he paid the price in full but he wasn't on the cross yet when he gave this parable. You know the word of God tells us that there are people when they are preached too that they wallow in their own mire like the dog who's returned to his own vomit. Wasn't it Steven who called the Jews stiff necked people and Jesus said how will they escape damnation. Act 7:51 God tells us in his word that such deceived people when preached reject his word that they will drink of the cup of indignation and they will be tormented day and night in front of the Holy Angels and the lamb. Revelation 14:10 They will inherit the greater damnation and that is REALLY intensified to inherit eternal damnation if they don't repent of their false ways. So if Street preachers are out there they don't hold back. They are sanctified in the truth. They tell such people that they encounter the truth and many of them are religious and lost, arrogant and insult them. I've been insulted out there more than once and by wicked family members as well. They are perishing. GOD IS NOT MOCKED!
Again I've stood up and been insulted and stood up and told people the truth and some of them mocked. Some of them are family. It's their soul that is going to perish to eternity. They are reprobates and they are headed for destruction. Just like John the Baptist when he told the king and queen they were headed for eternal destruction they had him put to death but he never recanted because he told them the truth and he was sanctified in the truth. As the word is truth. Jesus said the scriptures cannot be broken. KING JAMES BIBLE
Psalms 1:1
“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.”
"nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful" There are some things the wicked cannot stand as GOD brings to shame the deceived and ungodly by those the world rejects and others means. They scorn but blessed are you if you do not do such things.
The above is important and you have to sometimes turn the other cheek but you're not to walk in their ungodliness and false ways. If you're a new creature in Christ, a new creation all things have been made new.

7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
Now there's more to that scripture above but even Apostle Peter is telling about what is reserved and coming. A day of judgment will come for all inhabitants of the earth.
Whom is the unblemished lamb of GOD? King James Bible describes him the right way.

Anointed : pray every day
Many people are under a false dichotomy. You know you heard it preached that no one is promised another day and that we are saved by grace through faith that no man can boast. But there are lots of death each day and there are lots of birth each day. Not all people are going to be saved. So grace could be abused and wasted. Time could expire! If somebody gives you a grace period and you abuse it shall grace abound? If you ow someone money but you take all of your life and don't pay it back that's perpetual sin and abused grace. Preachers have to preach the truth today not tomorrow. John the Baptist lived in the truth everyday as did Noah. And when people hear the truth they just scorn and mock many. Are they going to despise their own life when they are destroyed and perish!
