Make No Graven Images

 


Put your mind on things from above and make no graven images. Worship only the true God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. If anybody teaches anybody to break the Commandments they will be called the least in the Kingdom. That is called the least. The Lord Jesus Emmanuel God with Us said if you love him keep his Commandments.

Exodus 20:4

King James Version

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

They have made the house of God into a den of thieves. The Lord said it would be called The House of prayer. Obviously prayer is communication with God and the Lord even prayed for himself and for his Apostles and disciples. We are called to holiness which we can't even discern to his fullness until we apply ourselves. Jesus said if you love me keep my Commandments. He even give us a new commandment to love each other. Now those graven images it doesn't specifically say that people are bowing down to them. Artist do this all the time and they make images of the universe, planets, etc. Even images of things in the sea or above ground. It mentions  beneath the Earth too.

Your focus need not be on created things and on worship-ping beasts, things and people.. Get it off vanity. All is vanity said the preacher. And I did hear one brother in Christ say that your driver's license is an image and you don't bow down to it. It's in your wallet and you sit on it maybe some people. That is an image to identify you to the authorities because it's your license to drive a motor vehicle. But you do not meditate on it do you? But people meditate on dirty images in Playboy magazines. People serve the creature more than they do the true God whom is blessed forever. God's word tells us to renew our minds and put it on things from above. It tells us we should live by faith. Jesus was a man well acquainted with sorrow and he had a face men looked away from. (Nothing that would make us attracted in that a way). Lots rejected him. People put their minds on physical objects of/and beauty. But the mind should be on holiness and on obedience to the Vine.

Proverbs 31:30

30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.

John. 14. [15] If ye love me, keep my commandments. [21] He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

  After notes: If you could learn to live this way and believe in your heart even without ever seen. Even taking into account of people will tell you you're not under the law but don't live by vanity and by the flesh but live by the spirit only then you will do well and you will be blessed.

Some of these drop out go on to be successful in some other way. But this is not the norm because education is valuable . The education given by the biblical Jesus also known as Yeshua is of the greatest education you could ever receive in this life. The word of God being the gospel is the power onto salvation. Many people who do go to school receive a college diploma or university degree and many of these people die in their sins and never received true salvation before leaving this life. Later on a day or two it passed me by again and I realized it's important and I've been speaking about something like this. Some Christians who are true Christians just tolerate it.
