Money = WICKEDNESS

Evil is evil. But because of money many people will spend an eternity in outer Darkness being a place of Torment. Judas Sold Christ out for thirty pieces of silver coins and lost his soul. What will it profit a man to gain the world and forfeit their own soul. (this is true and this is very serious)

Money is the root of all evils.

1 Timothy 6:10

10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

It's time to talk about money the god of many people. And to even call it that might seem unfair or silly, derogatory but it's not. Whom is your master in life?

Hebrews 13:5

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

God's word says the despised Messiah was a man well acquainted with sorrow and he had nowhere to lay his head. He said himself birds have nests and foxes have holes but he has nowhere to lay his head. If he in turn is the son of God the Creator and he and the father are one why would he have nowhere to lay his head if he's powerful. Because the fall was so great and man Love's Darkness. The real way is a Straight Gate and man rejects that way mainly. God's way is not man's way and his mind is above men. Spiritually discernment in the Lord reiterates to me John 2:16 quite often. I come across that very often. They have made the house of God into a den of Thieves. You see very important that the Lord said that his house/ body of believers shall be called a House of Prayer. And now that I said that people win the lottery and people quickly squander that money. There is a parable in scripture how about a fella his dad gave him his inheritance and he squandered it only later to repent and his father threw a big party. Also the Lord told a parable about a field that a man sold everything to buy that field and he reckoned that to getting into his kingdom. The analogy was money but it was not really money. You must be born again 3:3

Ecclesiastes 5:10

“He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.”

Now there have been rich people in Scripture. I believe Abraham was rich. Job at one time had everything you could imagine and then God tested him and took it all away. The Lord was a poor carpenter. A man well acquainted with sorrow. A man who's yolk was easy and a  humbled man.

Some people spend all they have on worldly junk that can't save their soul  but actually destroys them. Others are born into Rich families and become spoiled brats. While other people in some Nations have children and have nothing to eat and even live outside. While in some of the Richer Nations people don't know God and they're devils with their money and arrogance fills their hearts and they are prideful and foolish. The Rich man in Scripture that did not feed Lazarus ended up in hell. The Lord Jesus said if you want to have Treasures in the heaven the rich man should sell everything he has, give the money to the poor and then he will have Treasures in Heaven. Then pick up his cross.

It's good to learn money management though because it does matter. Especially if somebody was running a business and has  staff employees. The admirable thing is there are some people that generate their own money/income as even my dad did this once. And he did some big jobs in his time. And even small ones. So you have to know how to manage it. Even if you have a family. Governments have money. Nations have money. Some rich people squander it and live selfishly. The way to everlasting life it's a straight gate and very few people find the way in. Many celebrities in Hollywood become Idol worshippers and destroyed because of money. People fight over inheritance in court. I remember when James Brown died it was reported in the media that he was left in the casket for a little while while his family fought over his assets. If that is true that is really discouraging and unpleasant to hear.

I remember a lady once had won the lottery being her husband. They won the Super Lotto which might have been a hundred million dollars or something. (Power Ball?) The really big one. What she described was horrible and she dreaded ever that her husband won that money. I read another horrible story about a woman who took advantage of a man who won money in a lottery and it's really horrible. You know that old saying money is the root of all evil. It's worse if you don't have a relationship with God. Your life is but a fuse here today and gone tomorrow. And even if you leave the Inheritance to your children who don't know what's going to happen to them. 5:33 p.m.

God said that the poor shall inherit the earth. He Christ loved the poor and he said the least will be first in his kingdom. I'm not saying this out of arrogance or out of being spiteful or jealous. God said he goes prepare a mansion for those who loves him where he will receive them. The economy of God it's not the economy of human beings. If you're not connected to the vine being Jesus Christ and you don't bring forth good fruit then that is a problem and you might end up in hell. So what will it profit you to gain the world and forfeit your own soul. There's only one proper way and that is to be saved and to be under the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. To obey the vine and give thanks and supplication daily for everything. To have a prayer life and not to make it a den of Thieves. The thief comes but to steal and to murder but the Lord Jesus Christ has come so you would have an abundance of life. What is your life but a vapour here today and gone tomorrow. If you study history there are some wealthy people that committed suicide. Money does not give you happiness but if you do work and you work to make a living but your priority is the narrow way of the Lord that is the right way always.

Little story. I had a friend who started out poor and started to gain an inheritance that was quite substantial. He ran a business and he did well. He lost it all including those closest to him. He never got a chance to live in that way but he was sort of prideful about it beforehand bragging in a way that it was coming. Have you thought about where you will spend eternity? That is when you die and leave planet Earth.

For a rich man to enter God's kingdom it's like a camel going through the eye of a needle. Virtually impossible unless they give it up and pick up that cross follow after the Lord.

1 Timothy 6:17 - 6:19

17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

1 Timothy 6:17 - 6:19 explains exactly what is needed to be done. How God expects you to do things. 6:06 p.m. today.

After notes. Somebody said that it is God who gives people the ability to become rich. But remember the evil one has the kingdoms of the world to give to the wicked and those who are God's enemies. So there is a very wrong way. And the Bible warns about the state of a man in the last state being the worst so beware.
