My sheep hear my voice

In Scripture God says bring me your best lamb and it should have no defects. In other words don't bring me one with a stained eye or any that is defective or with any imperfection. It has to be perfect. And people I've heard probably who are unbelievers being atheist have said in the past God is a monster they imply being the God of the Old Testament. Why would God require imperfection. Now remember the Lord Jesus Christ was rejected of his own. The word of God says he was a man well acquainted with sorrow. But yet the word of God says that the Messiah there was no sin in him at all. So God was testing the Jews his people of that time period even as far back as Isaiah. He was preparing them for the future sacrifice of the coming Messiah being the lamb that takes away the sins of the world. John 3:16 i:e a voice from heaven (listen to him). Jesus was blameless and perfect. He lived the perfect life that you and I cannot. If it weren't for the shedding of blood forgiveness of sins would not be possible. The Bible says by his stripes we are healed.
"Exodus 12:5
“Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:”
King James Version (KJV)"
Now the next thing I have to discuss is the sword that the Lord told the apostles needed to be purchased. There are Christians and even Christian teachers who teach that the Lord told him they need swords so they can protect themselves. This is a lie. This was done for prophecy to be fulfilled. No one died protecting themselves with a physical sword.
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
There's one more thing I need to discuss apart from all of this. Where two or three are gathered in my name there I am. Matthew 18:20 I've heard evangelist say that this is about church discipline. True to a point. This is about discipline within the brethren. There are many denominations and some people do not have a building where they worship but Fellowship in groups. Where two or three are gathered in his name the Lord may still be there because it's in his name. At the same time we would hope they are disciplined.
The word of God says if you love me keep my commandments. King Solomon king of wisdom concluded the whole matter/duty of man was to keep the commandments/law in life. But the Jews are keeping the Sabbath awaiting a human Messiah that is not the real one so since our Lord is risen he came already we have in essence not been keeping the sabbath. Many argue we are not under law and this is not required of gentile believers. We are saved by grace through faith. The Bible says one man esteems one day and another yet another day. Who are we to judge our brothers and sisters being part of the brethren. Romans 14:10
Please note I am not implying to go back under the law. Shall grace abound. Can you be graphic back in again when you have strayed/gone too far.
There is one other thing of matter of extreme importance I need to discuss but it will be in a separate blog later.
