Gods wrath and fierce anger




Isaiah 13:9
 
“Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.” King James Version (KJV)


A lot of people ask why God was so angry in the Old Testament. In the New Testament we have mushy Jesus loves you. You know hollywood Jesus. You know he laid the law aside and now everything goes. Is this a figment of our imagination? I was reading scripture today on the great day of the Lord. In that day a fierce anger of God is going to come upon all human life/mankind and great men of the earth God says will be crying out. Actually screaming out. God flooded the world and many people died in that flood and people were warned just the same way we are preaching and warning people of the coming judgment in these proposed suspected end-times. Why was God so mad at Israel when they broke the covenant and he exiled them for following other gods that do not exist. You got to remember different empires conquered Israel and Israel just as prophesied fell apart in whatever way it did. But wasn't it on May 14, 1948 that it became a nation again and prophecy was fulfilled. God even repented in scripture and stopped himself from bringing wrath against a certain Nation or certain people. The Bible says God “repented of the evil” he was about to do to mankind.  God is holy beyond our recognition and he hates sin. When we sin and we are commanded to love him with all our heart mind and soul even as a nation then we show disrespect for his holy commandments let alone his decrees it must anger him because the Bible says he is angry with the wicked every single day. The god of Hollywood loving Jesus is not the God of wrath that is the true God. God tells us in one of the commandments that he shows mercy to thousands of people that show him love and respect. But I am sure God sends wrath on certain groups that persist in their abominable corrupt  ways. In all the abominations that men do what they are doing is storing up wrath and they are putting God to thy test.  The Bible warns not to do this.

Remember God did not spare the old world as the flood came. God did not spare the holy angels of Satan and reserve them onto chains of darkness. Including Satin eventually. The Book of Revelation details not only plagues and the great day of the Lord but the seven seals that will be opened by the lamb whom is worthy to open them. God tells us himself through his holy prophets that Nations that forget him are turned into hell. Right now people have been dying and people are fighting in Ukraine. Not only that people around the world are dying of diseases and other crimes, things as well. Every few days perhaps thousands plus of people die around the world and I wonder how many make it to eternal life and how many make it to eternal damnation. Since Christ said that the way is straight and narrow and few be  that find it in their lifetime it tells me very few people make it to eternal life and most make it to eternal damnation. You need to know who the true God is and the true risen Christ. Read the Bible.

If I can pray for peace

 Sunday March 13th 2022 7:44 p.m. Elvis Presley - If I Can Dream  ('68 Comeback Special)  Matthew's Beatitudes hold the well-worn saying, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God ”   It's Sunday March 13th 2022 and the war continues in the Ukraine. There is news that an American journalist has been killed and that some military base has been attacked. I've heard about the devastation and it's just horrible that people are dying including children. People are also protesting in certain Nations. I believe they may have gone to some embassies. I was hoping some Street Preachers could give a word and stand for Christ and the gospel. I've just heard that Russia asked China for military help in media news. Cities have been bombed and I believe they're closing in on the biggest city in the Ukraine. I would ask Christians everywhere to pray for peace. We certainly hope this does not escalate into something that is out of control.
